The Canada Goose is easily recognizable by its striking black head and neck juxtaposed with a white chinstrap that extends from ear to ear, giving the bird an elegant appearance. Their bodies are brown-grey complemented by a mixture of lighter and darker feathers, with the underparts being generally lighter. They possess a strong, black bill and matching dark webbed feet, both built for their aquatic lifestyle. Eyes are soft black beads that gaze alertly out at their surroundings.
